Turn Your Fears Into Reality…
I am big on personal development! I am a super busy mom and work full-time as a Hospice nurse, so my time is extremely limited, so I usually spend ALL my free time listening to audio books on audible.
If you don’t have audible, and you’re at least half as busy as me, PLEASE do me a favor and download the app! I’ll give you more information on this amazing app in a video or another post…. You’ll thank me.. You’re welcome.
Anyway, this Amazing book by Carrie Green... I happened to stumble upon it because, well, it was in the only section I browse, Self Help. It’s a book designed to empower and inform female entrepreneurs and like-minded alike. As soon as I started the book, I was hooked. Her voice is so easy to listen to, she genuinely cares about her audience and readers. She wants everyone listening (or reading) to succeed at whatever their goals or dreams are.
“Sometimes, you have to go wrong in order to learn how to go right. And it’s all OK. It’s part of the adventure.” – Carrie Green
How true is that quote, right? I can’t even tell you the amount of times I’ve gone wrong! I have had so much life experience that has brought me to places that I know is not right. What do I do? I learn from it and move on. It’s all about learning from your experiences. It doesn’t matter if you’re trying to find the right product in network marketing, going back to school, blogging, trying to find you’re niche. Life is about trying… Trying everything that intrigues you, things that pop into your head and you can’t seem to shake them out… the only way to truly succeed is to just go for it!!
I have put off blogging for so many years. I’ve been scared. Some of the fears are so obvious and silly and other fears I can’t seem to identify. I just decided to go for it. I am a nurse, I LOVE LOVE LOVE what I do. I’ve worked so hard in my life to get to this point, but I know there is something more out there. Something more I can contribute to help others achieve success or empowerment… maybe both.
This is my journey, my adventure, and I hope my blog posts inspire others as I find myself and keep following my passion.
“I felt like I was supposed to be doing something bigger, something more meaningful, something… I didn’t bloody know. Every day, I wondered, ‘Why do I feel like this? Can someone please help me?!’ There were days when I was in despair and just wanted to cry, because I didn’t know what to do. But then it dawned on me that the reason I didn’t have a clue was because I was largely doing nothing.”
